Sit on the throne as a benevolent (or malevolent) medieval monarch of the modern age and swipe your royal fingers either left or right to impose your will upon the kingdom.
Reigns is a light rogue-like kingdom simulator with Tinder mechanics. What does that mean? You play as the King, and cards are presented to you with the faces of your advisers, or even the royal dog, and you swipe left or right to answer their questions.
Your choices affect the four bars at the top (Faith, Health, Troops, Money), and depleted bars spell your doom as a monarch. You will die a lot as you try to complete different objectives, and special objectives will pop up like duels or dungeon exploration.
Games can be as quick as a minute if your king dies fast, and the simple left/right swipe mechanic, simple graphics, and often morbid humor makes this a great mobile experience.
