Episode 93 Tasty Treats- Fort George Suicide Squeeze IPA

For this week’s recording of the Plug and Play podcast, we picked up a growler of Fort George’s Suicide Squeeze from NW Liquid Gold. I had the pleasure of visiting Fort George Brewery a few summers ago, and if you are ever in beautiful historic Astoria, you should visit and have a pint or few.

Fort George describes Suicide Squeeze as:

The brewery has remastered the recipe in a big, big way. Artfully cut like a 7” vinyl, Special Edition pops with Mosaic, Amarillo, and Citra hops. Front loaded with organic 2-row barley and paired with deep cuts of specialty malt — Suicide Squeeze IPA is a well-rounded experience.

We found Summer Squeeze very flavorful, while still remaining very smooth and drinkable; just the right amount of hops balanced well with barley and malts. If you see a four-pack of cans in your favorite store, don’t hesitate to pick it up and enjoy! Definitely a milder experience than their famous hoppy Vortex IPA.
